Picked this up for my niece. Similar to the first book, the questions seem harder than on the released practice tests. My niece said that she thinks there were also some mistakes in the answer key in this second version as well. Again the explanations were not very detailed so she had some difficulty understanding her mistakes on a few problems. Overall she said she liked the book and felt that it would help her.I received this product at a discount for an honest review. It is a very helpful book! The problems resemble actual SHSAT problems and are sufficiently challenging to help prepare for the test. Furthermore, my son tells me the solutions are very clear and super helpful. Strongly recommend the book.

It is a good book, with a variety of problems. It consists of several full length tests (math part). At the back of the book, there are answers with detailed explanations. Overall, it is a very helpful book for SHSAT prep. Also, there is a first volume that i would also recommend buying.
